National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) inviting applications for the posts of Diploma Trainee Engineers in Northern Region, Western Region-I/II, Eastern Region-I/II, National Capital Region and Southern Region. Diploma Trainees: Total 276 Vacancies at following regions.

1. Northern Region (Lucknow, U.P.): 48 Posts (Mechanical-21, Electrical-13, C&I-8, Civil-6)
2. Southern Region (Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh): 15 Posts (Mechanical-5, Electrical-3, C&I-2, Civil-5)
3. Western Region I (Andheri (E), Mumbai): 52 Posts (Mechanical-21, Electrical-13, C&I-11, Civil-07)
4. Western Region II (Raipur, C.G.): 94 Posts (Mechanical-45, Electrical-20, C&I-15, Civil-14)
5. Eastern Region I (Patna, Bihar): 27 Posts (Mechanical-14, Electrical-4, C&I-4, Civil-5)
6. Eastern Region II (Bhubaneswar, Orissa): 16 Posts (Mechanical-11, Electrical-3, C&I-2)

Pay-Scale: stipend of Rs.15500 per month for 1 year training period. After pay scale of Rs.15500-3%-34500 (W7 grade)

Age: 27 years as on 10.10.2011

Qualification

• Electrical: Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Mechanical: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Civil: Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• C&I: Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering.

Date of Written Test: 20th November, 2011 (Sunday).
